Djokovic is inspired by the two players constantly as he is impressed by their exploits, given their age. He also talked about them in a previous interview and gave praising words.

The Djoker talks about athletes past their 30s

Only two decades ago, it was assumed that players would start moving away from the sport when they near 30. But the situation has changed greatly, and we now see players play well into their 30s and even their 40s. Djokovic felt that this change was great as he gave the examples of Serena Williams, Roger Federer, James and Brady. As per him, the quality of the career improves, and it inspires younger players to persist in the sport and play as much as they can.

With current examples, we can see that Djokovic is right. Although only some played past their 30s, now many are stepping up and prolonging their career to play to their heart’s desire.
