The tennis community on Twitter can’t keep quiet as Alex de Minaur has pulled off an upset against the current number one player at the United Cup. Bastien Fachan, the renowned tennis journalist, took to social media to open up about how the ‘Djoker’ was on a 43-match winning streak on Australian soil prior to his recent defeat.

He tweeted, “Ironically, Djokovic’s even more extraordinary winning streak from the 2010 Davis Cup to the 2011 Roland-Garros semis also went extinct after…43 matches”

Just like De Minaur, the Swiss maestro Roger Federer also ended Djokovic’s 43-match win streak back in 2011.  The Serb’s phenomenal winning run on the men’s tour came to an end in the semifinals of the 2011 French Open, where his former Swiss colleague finally managed to beat him.
