Jannik Sinner’s art of silencing his critics
In the recent episode of the podcast Advantage Connors, Jimmy Connors’ son, Brett Connors talked about how Jannik Sinner was being doubted by a lot of people. But he was able to silence them all with his incredible win.
Brett Connors added, “Sinner had all his stuff swaying around about him. It was like, can he beat the top 5 seeds? He knocks all that. Not only he gets through the semis but he beats the number 1 Djokovic 10-time champion here. Then against Medvedev, he is able to come back and win it. He is able to stand 3 out of 5 sets. There has been talk about Sinner, he breaks down, had some health issue, pulled out of matches, all that shit is pushed to the side and there he is with a trophy at the end of it and I thought it was great.”
Connors was impressed that Sinner did not respond to any of his haters with any comments but continued to work and finally did something so incredible that now they are all silenced. Well, Brett Connors is not the only one impressed by Sinner’s journey but Rafael Nadal’s uncle Toni Nadal also spoke very highly of him recently.
