The Swiss player has reached round three of the US Open as he eliminated the world No.7, Stefanos Tsitsipas. 

The qualifier beat the world number 7 in an intense match-up that lasted for five sets. Dominic Stephan Stricker was born on August 16, 2002, in Grosshochstetten, Switzerland. Stricker’s exceptional skills and record, notably on the junior circuit, have made ripples in the tennis world. Tennis was Stricker’s love from an early age, and he rapidly developed a natural flair for the sport. He began playing competitively and quickly drew the attention of tennis aficionados and experts with his impressive results.

After he turned pro in 2020, Stricker initially won the BSI Challenger Lugano in 2021 and became the third youngest player to win the challenger after Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka.
