Second seed Andrey Rublev defeated qualifier Jiri Vesely to clinch his maiden title in Dubai. Going for winners along with, minimizing the unforced errors. The Russian took just 1 hour 20 minutes to take down the Czech qualifier 6-3,6-4. Both the players gave a treat to every tennis fan’s eyes by their toe-to-toe hitting.

Even though the 5,000 seated Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium was filled with spectators all over. However, one spectator that received a major eye was American actress, Lindsay Lohan. The ‘Mean Girls’ actress was seen enjoying the match as she took to her Instagram, posting a story for the same.
A special spectator for Rublev’s match
The 35-year-old actress Lindsay Lohan posted a story on her Instagram. In the story, Lohan is seen sitting in the stands, enjoying the finals of the ATP 500 Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships, as she also tagged the tournament’s Instagram handle. The story featured Andrey Rublev coming back after playing a point.

Born on 2nd July 1986, Lindsay Lohan started her career at the age of three as a Ford Model. After appearing in many TV commercials, Lohan made her acting debut at the age of 10. As the third actress to play Ali Fowler in the television drama Another World (1964). Since then, she has featured in some of the biggest movies like Mean Girls, Confession of a Teenage Drama Queen, Teenage Paparazzo, etc. She is next set to appear in the Netflix movie ‘Falling for Christmas’ alongside Chord Overstreet.
Andrey Rublev clinches ATP Dubai
After winning at the ATP 250 Marseille, Andrey Rublev entered the Dubai Open, in the hope to continue his winning streak. Starting the 500 point tournament as the second seed, Rublev outplayed Danielle Evans in the first round. He next played Korean Soonwoo Kwon, beating him in 3 sets. In the quarterfinals, the Russian beat American Mackenzie McDonald in the quarters. He defeated Hubert Hurkacz in the semi-final, to set up finals with Vesely.

On his way to the finals, Vesely had beaten all the big names like Marin Cilic (1st Round), Roberto Bautista Agut (2nd Round), Novak Djokovic (Quarterfinals) and Denis Shapovalov (Semifinals).

Being in top form, both the players kicked off the finals with both the players going neck-to-neck, giving no room to each other. However, it was Rublev who struck first in the opening set. With 11 winners and just 1 unforced error, Rublev took the first set 6-3.
The next set started with Rublev breaking Jiri in his opening service game. Trailing 2-3, Vesely breaks Rublev’s serve to level the set 3-3. However, eyeing a straight-set win, Rublev breaks back Jiri in the very next game as he goes on to win the set 6-4.

With this win, Rublev has further improved his win streak to 9-0.
