Taylor Fritz remembers his childhood

Fritz defeated Rafael Nadal in the 2022 final of the Indian Wells Masters’ or the BNP Paribas Open. Currently in town to prepare for the 2023 edition, he was driving down the streets of Rancho Santa Fe. That is when Fritz reminisced about his younger years in his hometown.

He posted a story on Instagram of the same. The picture shows the dashboard of the car and the streets of California through the windshield. He captioned the picture “So much nostalgia rn driving thru the streets I grew up around for the first time in forever.

Novak Djokovic caused a huge controversy in 2022 when he refused to take the Covid-19 vaccine to travel for various tournaments, including the Australian Open which led to his deportation. He maintained his stance and had to miss the Indian Wells championship as well. He missed due to the USA’s policy on vaccination for traveling foreign internationals. The country’s position has not changed this year and Djokovic did not get the vaccine either.

This means that he might withdraw for the upcoming Indian Wells tournament as well. Taylor Fritz has spoken in support of the Serbian and believes that Djokovic must be allowed into the country. Even Frances Tiafoe talked in support of ‘The Nole’. He stated that the best players in the world should be playing the best tournaments, even though some rules dictate otherwise.
