Ever since the sport of Pickleball’s introduction, it has gained a massive fanbase worldwide. Especially in America, it has become one of the favorites as far as everyday sport is concerned. In the process, it has become the fastest-growing sport in the United States. Having similarities to tennis, it is played with a much smaller racket. Moreover, it is also less expensive than tennis, meaning it is accessible to a greater population. Recently, the excitement surrounding the sport grew much more as a big update was announced for fans.
Major League Pickleball is one of the premier tournaments in this sport. Season One, which commenced earlier this year, was an instant hit. Many big names have been associated with this tournament. Recently, two big names got added to that list.

Drake and Michael B Jordan have good news for Pickleball fans
Hours before, it was revealed that Drake and Michael B Jordan have invested in a Pro Pickleball Franchise. The Brooklyn Aces of Major League Pickleball announced the new investors, 5x Grammy-winning artist Drake and actor and entrepreneur Michael B Jordan. Along with the two, Steve Stoute also joined the team as a co-owner. The trio is joined by Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman, who are the existing investors of this team.

Speaking about the recent additions to the ownership group, Rich Kleiman said, “We’re thrilled to have this incredible group of investors join the Brooklyn Aces as we continue to grow the team and raise the profile of Major League Pickleball as a whole.”

Drake and Jordan are not the only celebrities on the list of Pickleball franchise owners. Stars like Durant, LeBron James, Naomi Osaka, and Patrick Mahomes have also invested in the various franchises of this league.
Power Couple Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf provide an exciting Pickleball update
Pickleball Slam’s second edition is set to take place in February 2024. Recently, a major update dropped regarding this tournament. After the successful first edition, the second edition will feature Agassi and Graf alongside the likes of Maria Sharapova and John McEnroe.
