After making it to the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Championships, the American star had a disappointing outing in the US Open, walking out of the tournament in the first round.

The American is currently playing in the Japan Open. After his win against Denis Shapovalov in the semi-final, he is set to move up a position in his rankings to number 10 in the world. However, his updated ranking was widely affected by Nick Kyrgios’ walkover in the quarter-finals.

After beating his opponent, the American was caught on camera, expressing his delight over his expected ranking.
