After a long time of being retired from the tennis world, Andre Agassi surprised the fans with his liking for Pickleball. While the sport was not recognized enough when he started playing, his participation along with his wife and former WTA pro Steffi Graf helped it grow. As the boundaries of the sport continue to capture more lands and hearts, it recently drew the attention of one of the biggest names in soccer history.

Besides renowned tennis entities who developed an interest in the paddle sport, former soccer superstar David Beckham also walked in as a surprise for the fans. Trading his soccer boots for a paddle on the pickleball court, Beckham teamed up with tennis legend Andre Agassi for a practice session, showcasing his quick feet and athleticism in a video shared on social media.

The video shared by Agassi on Instagram gave fans another chance to witness the legendary sporting prowess of David Beckham, who once ruled the grounds with his magic feet. Along with that, the fact that he indulged in a fun practice session with Andre Agassi added another limelight to the fans from both sports.

After retiring from professional soccer over a decade ago, Beckham’s appearance in the world of pickleball not only attracted the attention of fans but also added to the sport’s growing popularity. Andre Agassi’s ex-coach admires Beckham’s legacy

It isn’t just Andre Agassi who respects and admires the sporting legacy of David Beckham. Back when the English soccer legend was set to be featured in a documentary that was released on Netflix, Agassi’s ex-coach Darren Cahill stepped forward to express his admiration.

“Watched the David Beckham documentary on Netflix. Well worth a look. I’m not a huge football (soccer) fan but I thought it was brilliantly done and his story/setbacks/success are riveting. Seems like a good bloke,” said Cahill, influenced by the amazing story of the soccer pro.
