With the Pickleball Slam 2’s date knocking at the door, Andre Agassi takes a dig at the legendary opponent John McEnroe. Agassi revealed his mind games that he will try on John McEnroe at the upcoming Pickleball Slam’s second edition. Previously Agassi called this legendary tennis player a Control Freak and also dropped a challenge for the latter. Now following Agassi’s recent comment, fans are surely excited as hell for their upcoming Pickleball match.

Agassi defeated John McEnroe with his partner Andy Roddick in the Pickleball Slam’s first event. The match brought some crazy hilarious banter between the legendary tennis stalwart and the former American Grand Slam winner. Now Agassi once again brews the excitement with his recent strategy for John McEnroe.

Recently Pickleball Slam’s official Instagram page shared a clip where Andre Agassi shared his exclusive bits regarding opponent John McEnroe. Sharing the clip, this page added- “As last year’s winner of the Slam, @agassi deconstructs his tried-and-true Jedi mind tricks to getting under Mac’s skin and in his head. Remember to tune into @espn on February 4th at 8:30 PM EST to watch the Pickleball Slam 2 live!” 

In this clip, fans spotted Agassi saying- “The pleasure of beating John is just takes some more multiple dimensions I mean normally when you overcome a challenge and there’s talent like John, who can do so much with his hand in this court where…… so that exists.  Then just watching how personally he takes it.. how miserable he is in his defeat. It’s just this sector that the victory just continues and then I just kinda follow him around afterwards and locker room and ask some questions and act like its like a no big deal.

He further added: “Just take so much pleasure watching this suffering that’s going on deep within now and then. That I try to counsel without it in whole other weather. You can get better you can always improve… it’s just… it’s a gift just keep giving.”

Now it looks like Agassi is dedicated to defeating John McEnroe. Well, he already has his plan ready for McEnroe as he revealed a few months back on the Pat McAfee show.

Agassi has planned to ‘take that money away’ from McEnroe in the upcoming Pickleball Slam 2

The upcoming second edition of Pickleball Slam is getting crazier. Back in November 2023, Agassi made an interesting comment against his opponent John McEnroe. “I’m more grateful for the game, it’s given me a platform to change so many lives. It’s given me a platform to meet my wife, my children, my family, I mean, it’s given me the chance to freakin’ play pickleball and get paid to do it and take that money away from John McEnroe at the same time,” he said on the Pat McAfee Show.
