Andy Murray wears Roger Federer brand On’s shoes

Recently, the three-time Grand Slam champion was spotted wearing On’s shoes. Murray looked smart while putting on the Swiss maestro’s brand’s shoes. He did so during an event at the ongoing Infosys Hall of Fame Open in Newport.

Earlier this month, Federer and Murray made an appearance together during the centenary celebrations of Wimbledon’s centre court. The tournament honored former champions during this event, which also had the likes of Venus Williams and Novak Djokovic in attendance.

While Murray has won the grass-court Grand Slam tournament twice, Federer is the most successful player at the tournament, triumphing on eight occasions.

Murray aiming to win his first title this season

Things haven’t gone according to Murray’s plans this year after an injury-laden 2021 season. He is yet to win a title this year. Yesterday, he defeated Max Purcell of Australia in a hard-fought match to advance into the quarterfinals of the Infosys Hall of Fame Open in Newport. Murray is the sixth seed at the tournament and had received a wildcard entry into the main draw. In the next round, he’ll face Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik.

Meanwhile, Federer had to skip this year’s Wimbledon Championships after failing to recover in time from his knee injury. He has also moved out of the ATP rankings chart after losing all his ranking points. Earlier, Federer had confirmed his participation at the Laver Cup and the Swiss Indoors in Basel.
