The former ATP star has been tweeting actively about the 2024 US presidential elections. Remember when Donald Trump claimed immigrants entered the US through smartphone applications? Well, Andy Roddick criticized Trump on X. “They have a phone app so the people can come into our country. These are smart immigrants, I guess, because most people don’t have any idea what the hell a phone app is,” said Trump in a September rally, to which Roddick replied, “I feel like most people know what a phone app is.” Roddick’s sarcastic response expressed his political inclination.

Roddick openly confirmed his support for the Democrats. His support for Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Harris after the first Presidential debate debacle highlighted which side he was on. His straightforward comments on X expressed his truth-speaking personality that wants to be aware of what’s happening in society.

Andy Roddick backed Kamala Harris after Donald Trump’s allegations

When Trump and Harris had their first presidential debate, the former had many complaints about it. Later in an on-call interview with Fox News, Trump accused the debate of being “rigged” and asked for the “terrible” ABC News network’s license to be stripped off. When a user tagged Roddick in Trump’s clip, the American former player was disappointed. Expressing his views, Roddick wrote, “Everything is rigged. Always someone else’s fault ……. Got the Q’s before is a fun storyline that going around. Who could’ve guessed they were gonna talk about economy, immigration, abortion, Jan 6, Ukraine etc?”

Roddick offered a great preference for Kamala Harris. When an X user agreed to Trump’s remarks about the debate, Roddick questioned the former President’s incapability given he is running for such a crucial post. “They were the most basic and obvious debate questions ……. There were zero gotcha questions. I don’t understand how someone running for president could’ve possibly been surprised by what was asked. Unless they’re just painfully lazy and incapable or organizing a thought,” tweeted Roddick.
