The 28-year-old tennis star was recently seen in good spirits as he made his commentary debut on the Tennis Channel during a Round Robin match between Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev. The Tennis Channel posted incredible pictures of Kyrgios in a suit on social media.

In no time, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist’s girlfriend commented on the post with an encouraging one-word message. She wrote, “Yayyy,” followed by two heart emojis, and even tagged her boyfriend’s Instagram account.

Kyrgios has only played one match this year and then got sidelined because of his knee and wrist injuries. But he didn’t let his spirits down and dove into trying on a new role before making a comeback. He looked terrific in a cream-colored suit, debuting alongside Jim Courier and Brett Haber.

Marching toward a 2024 return, the Aussie is quite eager to return to the court, carrying his spectacular form by his side. Nevertheless, just a few days ago, he got real about his tennis future while exuding confidence in how he wanted things to turn out.

When Kyrgios got real about his tennis future

During an interview with WWOS, the ex-13th-ranked tennis player expressed his thoughts and emotions on prioritizing health and returning to the court. Along with that, he also made his comeback strategy quite clear. He said, “I still feel as if I’m in some of my physical prime. I feel like my level is still one of the best in the world. So it’s just belief in my game.”

Subsequently, he also set the record straight regarding the uncertainty of his career in the future. “If I didn’t feel as if I had much left in the tank, I’d probably just hang it up,” he added. While he is open to options, even though he was not active on the court this year, he still lived rent-free in his fans’ minds and hearts.
