Tiafoe made a brilliant comeback after dropping the first set, as he won with a score of 4-6, 6-3, 6-0.

Dominik Koepfer, on the other hand, is coming to the tournament after his first-round defeat at the Los Cabos Open. In his opening-round match in Acapulco, the unseeded German player defeated the Frenchman Terence Atmane while pulling off a bagel set, 6-4, 4-6, 6-0.

Tiafoe vs. Koepfer: Head-to-Head

The round-of-16 match clash between Tiafoe and Koepfer at this season’s Mexican Open will also mark their first meeting on the ATP tour. With no prior encounters in any competitive game between the ATP players, their H2H record is currently tied at 0-0.
