Tommy Paul is close to winning his first ever ATP Tour trophy since 2021 at the Dallas Open after beating Dominik Koepfer 7-5, 6-3 in the quarter-finals. In the first set, there were five breaks of serve, and Paul got a crucial break in the 11th game to win the set. He played well, especially on Koepfer’s second serve.

Now, he’ll face Ben Shelton in the semi-final, who won 6-7(2), 6-4, 6-4 against Jordan Thompson. Shelton lost the first set without facing break points but stayed strong mentally, fought off break points in the second set, and won with a forehand winner on his second match point.
