‘It’s Done!’ – Hubert Hurkacz confirms the prize money transfer
Portuguese commentator Jose Morgado shared a hilarious clip on his ‘X’ handle. The clip is from the ATP Estoril award ceremony when Hurkacz had to confirm the transfer of his prize money on the spot. The Pole is seen looking at the screen with the tournament director and turning to the crowd to confirm the transaction with a thumbs up, saying “It’s done!”

Many found it extremely hilarious, while some noted this was probably due to the sponsors of the tournament being a bank or a FinTech company who wanted to advertise their online transfer services at the Final of the tournament and the organizers had to follow through.

While sponsors are important for any tournament, they have recently been more important at ATP Estoril because of the history. The tournament was created in 2015 to replace the historic Portugal Open that was canceled due to a lack of sponsorships.
