The ATP Moselle Open is the tournament that will close out the ATP Tour before the year-capping ATP Finals will be played. The tournament is held in Metz, France, and awards the winner with 250 points, giving them a slight boost over others. Thiem wants to get rid of the memory and get the momentum to bring him back to his slam-winning days. 

Matteo Martineau is a 24-year-old local star who often competes in Challenger tournaments and ATP 250 events. His Challenger stint has not been faring better than his 250 stints, as he has not managed to go beyond round 2 in any tournaments in the past few months. But he is stepping into the Moselle Open to turn it all around.

Thiem vs Martineau: Head-To-Head
