ATP Munich 2024: Holger Rune vs Daniel Elahi Galán; Preview, Head-to-Head, Prediction

The Danish tennis sensation is coming to the Bavarian International after his quarterfinal finish at the Monte Carlo Masters. Holger Rune brushed aside the likes of Sumit Nagal and Grigor Dimitrov in the initial  matches. However, the Dane later failed to overcome the number two seed, Jannik Sinner, who won in a three-set thriller, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3. During his quarterfinal match, Rune hit six aces and five double faults against his Italian opponent while he had a first-serve win percentage of 82%, which decreased to 55% on the second serve.

Daniel Elahi Galán, on the other hand, is coming to the Munich Open after his round-of-16 defeat at the ATP Houston. Now entering the clay court tournament as an unseeded participant, the Colombian player breezed past the Argentine Camilo Ugo Carabelli in straight sets, 7-6, 6-4. During his first-round victory, Elahi Galán hit five aces and two double faults, while he won 78% of points on his first serve, and 65% on his second serve.
