Not only this but wins over in-form Marton Fucsovics and Filip Misolic in the earlier rounds have clearly shown that he still has the caliber to fight amid the high intensity. With the title just a couple of steps away, he would be willing to continue his dominant form while making a bold statement in Stockholm.
On the other hand, Djere also had a fine run in the tournament. He already announced his quest for the title when he defeated the likes of J.J. Wolf in the round of 16 in the tournament. He then faced Tomas Machac in the quarter-finals of the tournament. Despite losing the first set, he went on to turn the course of the match and managed to win the match in a 3-set thriller. The final scoreline of the match read 5-7, 7-6, 6-4 in favor of the Serbian.
With just one step away from the finals, one thing is certain: these two will produce one of the best matches of the tournament so far.
Monfils vs Djere: head-to-head
Interestingly, the two have never faced off against each other ever in their tennis career. Thus, this will be their first-ever meeting on a tennis circuit. With a chance to take an early lead in the head-to-head, both the players will give their everything on the tennis courts.

However, it is noteworthy that Laslo Djere would certainly not allow him to take a win that easily. But, with the experience that Monfils has, he already knows how to deal with such high-intensity pressure.
