Further, the two knocked out the top-seeded pair of Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic in the second round. Nick Kyrgios was all smiles after the encounter and he had an interesting tweet to share.

The Australian took to Twitter and shared a hilarious tweet after the match. He said, “just letting you know after yesterday’s chop fest in doubles my opponents coach and trainer proceeded to threaten to fight in the players gym. Tennis is a soft soft sport, all because I moved and hit them with a tennis ball.”

The Australian pair had received a wild card to participate in the men’s doubles at the Australian Open 2022. Further, they caused a major upset yesterday when they took out the top-seeded pair from the tournament in the second round. The two defeated the Croatian pair 7-6 (10-8), 6-3 to book their place in the third round. Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis will next take on 15th seeds Ariel Behar and Gonzalo Escobar.
