The Australian sensation, Nick Kyrgios has been a longtime Drake fan. The 28-year-old player, who has been out of the court for a while now has always been upfront whenever it comes to showcasing his love for the rapper’s music. In a recent revelation, the Australian tennis player gave major Drake vibes as he took to his Instagram.

In the recent story that he posted, Kyrgios gave major ‘Bad Boy’ vibes as he picked a Drake superhit from his playlist. Nick, who has been out of the court for a while now is focusing on his return to the court. Meanwhile, he uses his social media to involve with his fans and he loves to share his insight with his loved ones.

In a recent Instagram story, Nick Kyrgios showcased his side as he shared an edit featuring the words ‘Bad Boy’ imposed on his image. The Australian athlete, known for his on-court charisma and off-court antics, added a unique twist to this post by syncing it with Drake’s hit track, “Nonstop.”

Kyrgios, a fan of Drake’s music, vibed to the rapper’s beats. The edit, which depicted him as the bad boy shows the other side of him off the court.

The story not only highlighted Kyrgios’s ability to connect with his fans through social media but also hinted at his personality. However, Nick’s love for Drake is not hidden. The Australian player, who is currently out of the tennis court for a while due to injury has been a long-time Drake fan as he highly adores the rapper’s music. However, there was a time when the Australian got into a heated debate with the Canadian rapper.

Kyrgios was involved in a battle of words with Drake during his early years

Nick Kyrgios’ love for the Canadian rapper’s music is well known. In multiple interviews, he has showcased his Spotify playlist which has included Drake’s song. However, his love for Drake also got him into a heated debate with the rapper.

While playing his 2014 Wimbledon as a 19-year-old, Nick Kyrgios defeated Jiri Veseley as he made his way into the next round of the tournament. However, after being set down, Nick bounced back up and won the match. However, in the post-match interview, he claimed that listening to Drake eventually cost him his first set.

”Today was a bit of rap, actually,” Kyrgios said, talking about his music selection. ”I came out really flat, so hopefully I won’t listen to that again. It was actually Drake. Didn’t do the job for me.” 

However, these comments made their way to the Canadian rapper who seemed furious at his comments. He even said to ‘chop him down‘ if he meets the player, who stated that the first set loss was due to Drake’s music. Thus, even though Nick’s love for Drake’s music is never-ending, the two did not have a great start to their friendship. However, over time, the things between the two improved.
