After a long time of testing fans’ patience, Rafael Nadal has finally dropped a surprise with his comeback announcement. Right from the start of this season, the admirers have been sharing their pain through different setbacks, including the one in Brisbane, Indian Wells, and Monte Carlo. While the fans were still not ready to give up on him, the Spaniard kept up with the expectations and is ready to grace the courts of Barcelona once again.

Giving out a confirmation just hours before the inaugural match, he announced, “I came here a bit of a last minute decision, because I didn’t know if I was going to be able to play. Tomorrow I will be on the court.” However, along with that, the Spaniard also dropped an emotional bomb by marking this season as the last one of his professional career.

As soon as the update started to gain views on social media, fans came forward to express their thoughts. A comment, diving in with a blend of both happy and sad nervous emotions for Rafa’s comeback, said, “I tried to act cool but I was more nervous like before a GS final,” comparing the feeling to the nervousness that exists before a major final.
