There is nothing like family support. Stefanos Tsitsipas‘s brother’s recent reaction to Tsitsipas reaching the Barcelona Open finals showed a great family bond. Petros Tsitsipas who has accompanied his talented younger brother for doubles matches has always been supportive of Tsitsipas. Likewise, he is carrying out his big brother duties as Stefanos Tsitsipas is set to clinch another title.
The Greek tennis star reached the Barcelona Open tournament’s finals. ATP Tour’s official Instagram page shared the news of his triumph, and wrote- “10 match winning streak @stefanostsitsipas98 takes down Lajovic 5-7 6-4 6-2 to reach the final Barcelona! @bcnopenbs| #BCNopenBS.” Tsitsipas’s achievement was further shared by his brother Petros Tsitsipas on his official Instagram story. Sharing his brother’s recent feat in professional tennis, Petros Tsitsipas added three done-and-dusted emojis to showcase his brother’s hard work and indomitable on-court spirit.
Tsitsipas will now face Casper Ruud in the tournament’s finals. The Greek ATP star previously defeated Rudd to bag the Monte Carlo Masters title. Now for the second time, Tsitsipas and Rudd will entertain fans on the court. About the match, Tsitsipas stated– “I’m expecting a much better version of what I had in Monte Carlo, We had a good match there. Of course these kind of matches are tricky. Playing back to back. You try to see what works best for you. The opponent is trying to get as good as he can for the next one.”

On the other hand, Casper Rudd has impressed with his performance this season. Therefore, Rudd and Tsitsipas’s on-court battle for the Barcelona finals will be exciting.

He defeated Dusan Lajovic in the semifinals of the Barcelona Open tournament – 5-7, 6-4, and 6-2. This victory marked Tsitsipas’s tenth consecutive win. So far, the Greek tennis player has won one and lost ten ATP 500 tournaments.

On the other hand, Rudd has never won any ATP 500 tournaments. The Norwegian has been performing well in the ATP circuit this year, reaching the fourth final of this season. If the 25-year-old manages his nerves better in clutch situations, he has the chance to win the match against Tsitsipas.
