Behind the glory of tennis, a storm seems to take everyone by surprise as two titans clash in a war of words. Boris Becker, a legend from the past who’s majorly responsible for shaping the sport’s present, finds himself in a fiery showdown with the unapologetic and outspoken Nick Kyrgios. It all began back when Kyrgios suggested that modern-day players could have caused huge troubles to the past legends.

The beef now seems to have taken a completely different turn. While Boris Becker asserted the importance of the legends of the past and their impact on shaping the present, Kyrgios seemed a little off-track from it as the Aussie badass talked about the impact that he has brought in the sport.

In a recent revelation, Nick Kyrgios hit back hard at Boris Becker after he tried settling in the debate. In the interview, the German legend suggested that it is important to respect the legends of the game as they made it possible for today’s generation to not only play tennis but also make a living out of it. Kyrgios then mocked Becker and suggested that he has brought millions of fans into the sport.

He stood firm, saying he’s brought in big bucks and more attention to the sport, unlike Becker. “Bro what, I’ve been one of the FEW PLAYERS that have brought million more fans to the sport and have made more money for everyone NETFLIX…. Don’t remember seeing Boris on there guy is ridiculous. I’ve made my career off the court without the help of the others,” said Nick Kyrgios in his tweet.

Thus the war of words between the two seems to carry on for a long time. While Becker suggested respecting the legacy of the sport, Kyrgios went ahead to suggest that he has made his own legacy and a better one than the German great himself.

In another tweet that followed, Nick did not shy away from spilling words against Becker while the German asserted respecting the legends of the game. Not only this, the Australian sensation also claimed while claiming him next to the Big 3 in the line.

Kyrgios claims to be the most watched player in the last decade apart from the ‘Big 3’

Nick Kyrgios got pretty mad at Boris Becker’s praise for past tennis stars. He said he’s been super popular in tennis, especially beyond the ‘Big 3’ players, bringing loads of new fans to the game in the last ten years. Kyrgios didn’t agree with Becker at all. He argued that he’s made a big impact on tennis all by himself, without owing it to the past legends.
