Novak Djokovic is geared up for the Roland Garros. Despite having a stagnant start to the year where he was not able to play for the titles, the Serbian was back on the court. The player has brought a lot of pride and fame to his country. Furthermore, world no. 1 recently took to his Instagram to appreciate the success of basketball players from Serbia.

Novak Djokovic is one of the biggest tennis players in the world. He has brought positive attention to the sport as well as his country because of his strong gameplay. On his birthday as well, the player has taken the opportunity to appreciate his country’s basketball players.

He uploaded an Instagram story of the documentary series of basketball players by Euroleague Basketball Originals namely, “Land Of MVPs”. This featured three Serbian players like Nikola Jokic, Milos Teodosic, and Vasilije Micic.
The Serbian stated, “Back 2 back years best basketball players on the planet in every of the 3 biggest competitions come from Serbia. Just amazing! Land of Basketball.” He also praised Nikola Mirotic, who is a Montenegrin-Spanish basketball player. Novak stated, “P.S. Nikola Mirotić (MVP of Euroleague regular season) is also наш човек” 🙂. This roughly translates to “one of us.”
Plausible challenges for Novak Djokovic at French Open 2022
The world no. 1 is himself gearing up for the Roland Garros to get that 21st grand-slam title under his name. After not being able to pay at one grand slam in Australia and a few ATP 1000 titles, he is not ready to slack off. His first victory after his comeback at the Monte Carlo Masters came to the Italian Open.

The Serbian is not underestimating the challenges that he will have to face. His career-long rival and King of Clay, Rafael Nadal, would be giving his best to clinch the title as well.
