His response, “I mean Nick Kyrgios comes to mind, obviously. Simply because he’s so entertaining to watch. Half because you don’t know what you’re gonna see and half because he’s so talented. That guy could run on water it seems, just like a water bug. The way he skids about the court and he never stops bouncing around.”‘

Agassi added, “When I was at my lowest after I was No.1 in the world, I felt like I had to rebuild when I kind of got disconnected from the game. If I [got to] spend time with him [Kyrgios] … for me the most important thing is to understand who somebody is, where somebody’s at, and meeting him where that is. Because regardless of what demons one fights with, if you think they’re real, they exist, so you have to deal with them.”

The former American player finds his story similar to the controversial Aussie player’s. Now, we have to see if Kyrgios can have a resurgence like Agassi’s.
