Billionaire Roger Federer Stands Out From Revered Met Gala 2023 Guest List Featuring A-Listers Like Kim Kardashian, Elle Fanning, and Others

The world’s one of the most glamorous and pompous gala events is set to take place in a few days. Met Gala 2023 is always a celebrity event that garners attention in huge numbers and this year we will see tennis legend Roger Federer co-chairing the event. Despite it being the grandest of grand events, only 10 celebrities have confirmed their presence. Moreover, this list does not contain the names of Kim Kardashian, Elle Fanning, or Meghan Markle.

One of them is the recently retired tennis legend, Roger Federer, who is exploring various fields apart from tennis. His latest endeavor is coordinating the event with Ana Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue.

The Swiss Maestro has established himself in the realm of tennis as one of the most celebrated players. That is probably the reason he is now busy exploring other realms. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City sees some of the most renowned celebrities at the Met Gala event every year. And this year won’t be any different.

However, the confirmation from a lot of them is still pending. Nonetheless, we don’t have to worry about Federer because he is will be seen in the capacity of the co-chair of the event.

Moreover, a contributing factor in the non-confirmation must be the fact that the price of Met Gala tickets has increased from $30,000 to $50,000.

Besides that, Federer is all set to carry forward the name of the tennis realm after Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams, who previously acted as co-chairs in this prestigious event.

Roger Federer has become the first male tennis player and the third tennis player to co-chair the prestigious event. Before him, Osaka and Williams co-chaired the previous editions of the Met Gala.
