The Swiss Maestro Roger Federer recently played his last tennis match. The 41-year-old was out of action for a long time and returned only to play his last tournament. Over the years, Federer has earned many fans across the globe. While his game was outstanding, what separates him from others is his appearance off the court, i.e. his way of living a simple and humble life.

The 41-year-old also does his best to give back to society and the sport of tennis. Even in his retirement, the Swiss legend took a special initiative to raise funds for a noble cause.

Mercedes Benz’s special edition Roger Federer car sold for a whooping six-figure price

Roger Federer has had a long-term association with Mercedes Benz. The car makers came up with a noble initiative to auction a special edition Roger Federer car as a tribute to the retiring legend. The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE car sports a neon paint job. It is the color of a tennis ball and also has Roger Federer’s autograph.

In the auction, the car was sold for 185,000 euros. The money raised from the auction will go for the renovation of an old tennis court in London.

Nadal says his rivalry with Federer differed from that with Djokovic

Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic were two of the greatest rivals of Roger Federer. The trio entertained us with multiple intense matches in their long rivalry. While any match between these three used to be a nail-biter, Nadal feels that his rivalry with Federer was different from his rivalry with Djokovic.

Currently, on the South American exhibition tour, the 36-year-old said that his rivalry with Federer is more important because of the good memories of playing together and against him. Nadal cherished all those moments and said that a part of him left when Federer retired.
