Recently, the parents of Roger Federer went to witness the work of South African operationist tenor Levy Sekgapane in Zurich. After the performance, when the musician got to have one-on-one interaction with the couple, he made sure to click a picture with the two. However, this was not the first time the couple had met Sekgapane.

Expressing his gratitude, he penned down a message for the Swiss Maestro and his parents. He stated, “My close friends will tell you that Roger Federer is one of my biggest inspirations and my idol, I met his parents briefly a few years ago at the match for Africa in Cape Town, last night they came out to see my show in Zurich. I’m so humbled by this experience. Thank you Lynette and Robbie for coming to see our Cenerentola.”

An innocent fan who did not want to hang out with Federer

There are some tennis fans who have shown reluctance toward showing respect to Federer, unintentionally. However, it was an innocent mistake from a child.

As shared by a fan on Facebook, he met Roger Federer at a restaurant. Visiting with his two young daughters, he wanted a picture of the two with the player. However, the younger one who was only 3-year-old showed reluctance, Federer took matters into his hands and asked the little one to click a picture with him. But the answer was a straight ‘NO’.
