As the Négométal Open is currently going on, during a tennis match, a fire alarm created an atmosphere of tension. While the crowd present at the tennis arena was quite involved in the thrilling match, suddenly, after hearing the voice of the fire alarm, they started leaving the tennis arena.

A message was played in between the matches, indicating that there might be a fire nearby in the arena. Because of this, all the fans started walking out of their seats, not caring much about the match. Subsequently, both the tennis players were quite shocked at what was happening, and they also stopped the play for some time.

After sharing the video of fans rushing towards the exit, a Twitter user also clarified that it was just a false alarm and nothing else. He wrote, “Yes, the recorded message asks the crowd to exit the stands, I believe. But it was a false alarm.”

Apart from this, earlier this year, a similar fire incident was heard from Taylor Fritz. There has also been a similar situation in which he thought there might be a fire on the tennis court.

Earlier this year, when the American tennis player was playing in the Citi Open, he talked about becoming the target of protests by environmental activists while trying to be his 100% on the court. While everything was going fine during his Citi Open run, the 25-year-old talked about having a fire on the tennis court during his match.

He stated, “The first thing I thought was, look around, make sure no one is jumping on the court, because at Laver Cup, someone ran on the court and, you know, tried to light a fire on court.” Subsequently, while his fear didn’t come true, somewhere down the line, the protestors getting over the tennis during the Laver Cup is something that he can never forget.
