Body Language Expert Evaluates Syncing Gestures of Prince William and Kate Middleton Towards Prince George at Wimbledon

Wimbledon Championships 2022 brought a lot of unexpected twists and turns. From Rafael Nadal leaving before the semi-finals to Nick Kyrgios being fined for cursing in front of the royal family, we got to witness some epic moments.

Coming to the royal family, Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their son Prince George to Centre Court for the first time. Now, body language experts have analyzed how much in sync they both are as parents.

Kate Middleton and Prince William were attentive to Prince George and listened to him during the match. Other than that, another keen eye was noticing their every movement. Body language expert Stanton was focused on the couple, and noticed that they often mirrored each other.

He gave an example of this. He said, “For instance, turning their bodies in (sync) toward George, holding the same hand up into the air to address the crowds as they interacted with their son.”

Was it a good experience for Prince George?

It was Prince George’s first experience at Wimbledon. Attending the men’s final between Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic, the little prince seemed to enjoy the match apart from a few unsavory moments.

Additionally, he got to live the dream of many tennis fans. He got the opportunity to touch the Wimbledon trophy when the champion, Djokovic, let him hold the trophy. However, Australian player Nick Kyrgios got fined for using inappropriate language almost in front of Prince George.

Though the player tried his best to take down Novak Djokovic in the final, he failed. Djokovic claimed his 21st grand slam title in a four-set victory and cemented his status as one of the best players to step on to the grass-courts of Wimbledon.
