There is also a possibility that he could also play in Wimbledon in June this year. As per reports, the UK government could also potentially lift the vaccine mandate rule. If this happens, Djokovic can play back-to-back Grand Slam events, starting from French Open. What seemed to be a terrible year for Djokovic suddenly turned around as he was about to chase his 21st Grand Slam.

Can Djokovic play at the US Open?

Despite receiving the good news about playing at the French, Djokovic still won’t be able to play in the USA at the moment. As the US government has not lifted the vaccine mandate as of now. As a result, he can’t play at the Sunshine Double, the Indian Wells, and Miami Open. That means he’s also questionable for the US Open. However, things might change in favor of the Serbian.

Meanwhile, after losing at the Dubai Open, Djokovic lost his no.1 ranking to Daniil Medvedev. At the moment, we are not sure about Djokovic’s next tournament, but he might already be looking forward to the clay-court season to defend his title at Roland Garros.
