The coronavirus pandemic has changed the way humans function in this world. There are several uncertainties caused by the pandemic and this applies to the tennis world too. Scientists are yet to discover a 100% potent vaccine, but Andy Murray believes all professional tennis players should support the cause if it is invented in the near future. He has found some support for his claims as well.
A powerful vaccine can combat the virus and eliminate it from the system. Although we are yet to see the vaccine reach out to the population, scientists believe the enormous effort might take till the end of 2020 or the middle of 2021.
“I would hope that all the players would be willing to do that for the good of the sport – providing everything has proved to be safe, clinical trials and everything has been done and there are not any significant side effects,” expressed Murray on why the players should take vaccines.
