‘Bro Thinks He’s Novak’ – ‘Ultimate Clown’ Marton Fucsovics Gets Blasted by Fans for His ‘Unnecessary’ Shanghai Masters Act

The 2023 Shanghai Masters is up and running. With the season nearing its end, the top tennis players in the world are battling it out to finish this year on a high. As the competition gets tough and grueling, emotions can get the better of the players. One such incident occurred during the match between Marton Fucsovics and Felix Auger-Aliassime. The two were involved in a tight round-of-64 battle in China. However, it was the Hungarian who got the better of Felix in three sets. Following their match, Fucsovics did an unusual act to which the fans reacted.

The 31-year-old went all out in celebration and removed his T-shirt to show off his physique while celebrating. However, it was not to the liking of the fans as they expressed displeasure at Fucsovics’ shirtless celebration.

Tennis TV posted the clip of the Hungarian star’s celebration after the match on their official Instagram handle. The video went viral in no time and drew reactions from thousands of fans.

One of the fans said, “bros always flexing his build.” While another one wrote, “This topless celebration is unnecessary.” Some Instagram users were disappointed after watching his celebration. Reacting angrily to it, one fan said, “Put on your f**king shirt.”

On the other hand, one of the fans wanted some punishment for him, saying, “There need to be fines for tearing off your clothes and these excessive celebrations. Absolutely unprofessional.”

Meanwhile, some of them mocked Fucsovics for this type of celebration. One fan revealed, “Fucsovics, the ultimate clown.” Further, another Instagram user said, “Bro thinks he’s Novak after winning 2012 AO final.”

Despite these comments, Fucsovics will be pleased by his performance at the Shanghai Masters. In what was a topsy-turvy match, he prevailed over Felix in a tight encounter 7-6 (3), 4-6, 6-3. The 31-year-old will be motivated by his performance and aim to dig deeper in this ATP 1000 event.

Fucsovics next faces Francisco Cerundolo of Argentina in the round of 32. It’ll be interesting to see how he performs in the coming matches.
