Dominic Thiem is presently rehabilitating from his wrist injury and hopes to return for the 2022 season. Recently, he disclosed five interesting things about him through a TikTok video. Dominic Thiem suffered a major wrist injury at Mallorca Open in June. Since then, the Austrian hasn’t competed in professional matches. Just days ahead of US Open 2021, Thiem announced that he’ll miss the US Open as well as the rest of the season.

He stated, “Unfortunately, I’ve had to withdraw from the US Open and will miss the rest of the 2021 season. I’m really disappointed not to be able to defend the title in New York but I haven’t recovered from the wrist injury I suffered back in June at the Mallorca Open.”
However, recently, the Austrian has released some positive news regarding his wrist injury. He said he won’t be needing any further surgery and hopes to return for full-fledged training in the month of November.
