Consistent performances gradually bore fruit as he clinched his maiden Wimbledon title. Subsequently, he also achieved the top spot on the ATP rankings chart. As a result, he caught the tennis world’s attention with his displays. Even the Swiss maestro, Roger Federer, heaped praise on the young Spaniard.

The Swiss maestro’s management company organizes the prestigious tournament and is one of the partners of the event. Although Alcaraz wasn’t able to participate in last year’s Laver Cup, he hasn’t disappointed Federer and honored his request.

Earlier today, it was announced that Alcaraz will make his debut for Team Europe at next year’s Laver Cup, Berlin from September 20-22, 2024. The team is in dire need of inspiration after suffering back-to-back defeats and Alcaraz’s presence will be a huge boost for them, given that he’s at the top of his game.
