Stefanos Tsitsipas’ career graph has gradually been on an uptrend. In 2016, Tsitsipas lifted the junior Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, albeit in doubles. He partnered with Kenneth Raisma to defeat Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime in the summit clash of that tournament. Further, he turned pro in the same year.

Tsitsipas caught eyes when he won the ATP Finals in 2019 in his very first appearance at the tournament. He had a memorable last season, winning the Monte-Carlo Masters and an ATP 250 title in Lyon. Additionally, he also reached the French Open finals last season. The Greece national lost to Novak Djokovic in the finals of Roland Garros in a five-setter thriller.

Stefanos Tsitsipas shows off his funny nature

The 23-year-old displayed his sense of humor in a series of hilarious videos. During an interaction with a journalist at a tennis gallery, the journalist asked Tsitsipas, “Do you know this guy? Do you know who this is? Do we know him?” He replied, “I don’t like that photo.” Further, the journalist laughed and said, “It’s your photo, oh my goodness.”

Tsitsipas went on to add, “Can you please replace that photo? That is not my best one. It does demonstrate my athleticism, but then why the hell is the ball up there? Am I actually hitting the ball or I just missed it?”

In the subsequent clip, Tsitsipas, pointing toward the tennis balls, said, “Oh yeah, that’s amazing. Such a nice feel, huh? I should install this at home. Imagine just like having a bed, laying down, and having like balls hit you in the back.”

Tsitsipas has endured a mixed start to this season. After a credible last-four finish at the Australian Open, Tsitsipas suffered disappointing defeats in Marseille and Acapulco. Last month too, the Greece national failed to dig deep at the ‘Sunshine Double’.
