While he is doing quite well on the athletic front, the American former world number one opened up about how the two-time Grand Slam champion has the capacity to achieve 8 to 10 major titles in the future, as he still has a long way to go.

Roddick stated, “You know, that turning the offense into defense, his body is just electric. The power off the forehand side, mixed with the drop shot, and the joy that he’s playing with again, you know, he’s kind of a victim of his own shadow already, where if it doesn’t play great, we’re like, ‘or what happened with Carlos?

Addressing the doubts against Alcaraz, Roddick added, “Let’s all calm down. Let’s take the temperature. This guy’ going to win 8 to 10 majors minimum, he’s still so young and can do everything.”

Another tennis player who created such a record is Andre Agassi, who had eight Grand Slam titles under his name. Looking into Roddick’s future prediction for the Spaniard, it won’t be wrong to say that Alcaraz has the potential to surpass Agassi’s Grand Slam record and create his own record with more victories.

Along with that, he also highlighted that nobody else other than the Spaniard should worry about his performance on the court, as he himself gets into the depths of his performances. In an interview with Sky Sports, Djokovic made the bold prediction that Alcaraz had the skill and motivation to advance in tennis.

He stated, “I think tennis, definitely the future is looking good with Carlos leading that field.” He also underlined how important it is to have a player such as the two-time Grand Slam champion in the game, acknowledging Alcaraz as a key player who might shape tennis’ future for the next ten or more years.
