Carlos Alcaraz Receives Extremely Personal Honour From His Coach at Just 20 in a Touching Gesture

Carlos Alcaraz has achieved a lot in a very short span of his career be it being ranked as world number 1 or winning grand slams. Just at the age of 20, he has made a mark in the world of tennis like no other player. And now he has been rewarded with another honor that not a lot of tennis players can boast about.

He was recently invited to attend one of the ceremonies which were conducted to honor him after a tennis court had been named after him. And the amazing thing is that not only did he receive this honor, but he also got to share it with one of his closest friends.

In a Twitter post recently, it was revealed that just at the age of 20 years Carlos Alcaraz received an honor like never before. A tennis court has been named after him at the Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy. This academy is owned by Carlos Alcaraz’s coach Juan Carlos Ferrero.

While he was receiving the award, even his tennis BFF Jannik Sinner was there to support him. Sinner applauded his friend when he was being honored at the ceremony. In fact, he also made a video of Alcaraz getting the respect he deserves at such a young age.

He clicked a lot of pictures of him and recorded a video which he can post later. Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have actually become really good friends in the past. Even though they are rivals on the court, their off-court equation is commendable as they even practice together before the tournament season begins.

The duo recently made a plan to meet in Spain where they could practice together. Jannik Sinner extended his trip to Alicante where he could meet Carlos Alcaraz and they can train themselves before the chaos of the tournament for next year begins and they have matches back-to-back.

The two of them practiced at Alcaraz’s coach’s academy as they warmed up for their sessions together and hit amazing shots on the court. In fact, Juan Carlos even posted about Sinner visiting their academy for practice in one of his social media posts.
