Alcaraz has now become the youngest player to become the Miami Open champion in its 37-year-old history. The Spanish youngster shared the tip from his coach that helped him put his best in the finals and clinch the title.

“He told me that everybody knows it’s going to be my first final, but trying to think that this is the first match of the tournament, trying to manage the nerves like I did in the semifinal, which it was my second one,” Alcaraz said.

Carlos Alcaraz Garfia came out victorious in the finals of the Miami Open 2022. It was Spanish teenager’s first time in the Miami Open as a finalist. Moreover. he defeated yet another first time finalist of the Miami Open – Norway’s Casper Ruud . The Spanish player defeated him in straight sets, 7-5,6-4.
