Did you know that tennis is something that has been a part of Alcaraz’s family for decades? Not only that, but it’s the 20-year-old Spaniard’s grandfather who paved the way for his tennis success.

How did Alaraz’s grandfather pave the way into tennis?

The current world-ranked two tennis player’s father was a professional tennis player, but tennis is something that has been in the family. While his father was a national-ranked tennis player in Spain, when Carlos Alcaraz’s career began, his father stopped playing professionally, because he could not afford to sustain both careers.
