Federer is not coaching material!

Reflecting on Federer’s post-playing career prospects, Ljubicic said coaching on the tour may not be suitable for the legend. But he can be a great mentor as he has the required qualities. “I can’t imagine him becoming a coach on the tour. I see him more as a mentor. He was like that when he was still playing. For the Swiss players or others he likes. He helps my son who is 14. He loves to help. But I don’t think he wants to make a commitment as a coach. He will not focus on one thing, but will do very different things. But he’s fine. We don’t have to worry about Roger,” opined Ivan in the interview.

Indeed, beyond the tennis court, Federer’s generosity and eagerness to assist others are widely recognized. His mentorship qualities have shone through, guiding and inspiring fellow Swiss players and younger talents. Federer’s willingness to impart his knowledge and wisdom transcends the role of a traditional coach, creating a positive impact that stretches far beyond the realm of tennis.
