After winning the Australia Open, Jannik Sinner has not only made his fans happy and proud but most of all his country as well. Along with that, the other Italian tennis players have also become really happy with his success. Just recently another Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini talked about Jannik Sinner in an interview.

Not only did he have words of affirmation and appreciation for Sinner but he also shared how he felt that what Sinner did on the court to win the first grand slam of his life was nothing short of a miracle that he had ever seen. Let’s check that out.

In a recent interview, Matteo Berrettini talked about the strides Jannik Sinner has been making in the world of tennis not only for himself but also for his country. He was all appreciative of the 22-year-old.

During the interview, he stated, “Sinner performed a miracle, I will use this energy for my tennis too. I was pleased with what Jannik said, we have a good relationship that has strengthened in recent months. We are different but similar, we chase the same dream.”

He was clearly impressed with the performance of Sinner and wanted to channel the same energy that he had for himself during the matches as well. Furthermore, Berrettini also talked about his comeback to the sport after enduring a severe injury last year.

Berrettini also shares updates about his health and come back

Matteo Berrettini was supposed to make a comeback to tennis this year with Brisbane International 2024. He was already registered for the ATP 250 event’s qualifiers. After rupturing his ankle, he had to shut down last year’s season to get better. But since he was not well, we could not make it back in time.

So, in the same interview, he also talked about his health update and when he would be back. The Italian shared, “I’m better, not 100% yet. Soon we will understand where to return. The goal is to play for a long time and not keep stopping

He also added that he has a new coach now and is positive about the future. Well, here’s hoping he gets to come back soon.
