Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has had a difficult 2022 season. Earlier this year, the 35-year-old was denied participation in the Australian Open. Owing to his staunch stand against the covid-19 vaccination, the Serb has received a lot of backlashes.
The guidelines for vaccination differ from country to country and, just like Australia, the US also has made vaccination mandatory for foreign nationals entering the country. This means the 21-time Grand Slam champion will have to sit out of the year’s last Grand Slam event.
