Controversy tends to follow Australian tennis sensation Nick Kyrgios wherever he goes and whatever he does. The World No. 27 has earned a fiery reputation for his on-court antics, and he is not afraid of voicing his opinions outside the court as well. Recently, a fan asked Kyrgios if he would consider going on ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ during an Instagram session. Kyrgios had a few harsh words for the show and also criticized participating celebrities.

Ryan Gallagher, the famous Australian television personality, has come out all guns blazing against Kyrgios in a stinging Instagram post. Gallagher, who is a participant in the ongoing season of the survival reality show, didn’t mince his words when he voiced his opinion on Kyrgios’ criticism.

What did Kyrgios say in the first place?

Gallagher’s words were certainly harsh, but were they justified? And what prompted the television personality to lash out at Kyrgios? Well, as it turns out, Kyrgios wasn’t very kind in his opinion of the reality show on Instagram.

When a fan popped the question, Kyrgios said, “No. People who go on that show tend not to be celebrities”. He didn’t stop there, and added that for the cast, the show is “an excuse to get money”. It’s no wonder Gallagher felt incensed at Kyrgios’ comments and had his say on the issue.
