Two tennis superstars, Nicolas Jarry and Corentin Moutet, faced off at the Chile Open in a contest that not only tested their skills on the court but also kindled emotions off the court. A turbulent greeting from the crowd and Moutet’s celebration, in the legendary style of Novak Djokovic, made the match quite a wild ride for the viewers.

Similar to Novak Djokovic, Corentin Moutet extended both arms from his chest to the fans, then bowed with his palms together after his victory against Jarry. This created a wave of disappointment among the crowd, as they started showing their utter disgust towards the French player. Moutet, in a disheartening comment, opened up about his bitter experience on court during the match and its severe impact on him.

“It’s unfortunate because there was not a pleasant atmosphere. I like playing in Chile, in the qualifying and in all my matches, they supported me because I opened my heart, I gave a lot to the people, and shared with them. Sport is made for that. My coach and my family are here, I know what I did right or wrong and today I did everything right”, Moutet said during an interview after the match.
