Daniil Medvedev shares how taking care of his daughter at night is not his cup of tea

In his post-match conference, Medvedev was asked how he manages to keep up with his sleep schedule given that they have a daughter who is a little over 1 year old. To answer the question, the Russian player shared a story about when he was given the responsibility to do so once. As he failed miserably, his wife took on the ‘job’ ever since.

Daniil Medvedev added, “That’s a big problem. I go there to sleep with my daughter and at first, I am very cautious. Then I sleep and wake up at 9, and she is not there.” Later he was told by his wife that their daughter was making noise during the time but Medvedev just slept through it which is why his wife took their daughter with her.

Lastly, he added, “My wife does all the job at night.” Well, that seems reasonable given the way Medvedev managed it! After his match, Medvedev also talked about how his family plays an important role in maintaining his peace and keeping him happy and grounded.
