When Roger Federer slammed a perfect reply
During the 2014 ATP World Tour Finals, Federer was up against Wawrinka in the semifinals of the tournament. In what was a nerve-wracking match, Federer’s wife was vocal in support of the former World Number 1. Additionally, she also apparently called Wawrinka ‘cry baby’ during the contest.
It didn’t go down well with Wawrinka as he appeared to point to Mirka with his racquet and ask Federer: “What did she say?” Subsequently, he also went on to complain to the chair umpire, “She did the same thing at Wimbledon. Every time I am on her side she yells before I serve. It’s unbearable.”
However, Federer later revealed that the two are friends and not enemies. Additionally, he shared a picture with his Davis Cup teammates ahead of their tie and said, “It’s great being with the boys again ..”
