Twitter is one of the best social media platforms for high-profile personalities to engage with their fans. 20-time singles Grand Slam winner Roger Federer swears by it, and his ‘AskRF#’ sessions have undoubtedly helped him to connect with his loyal worldwide following. Recently, Federer has been quite busy, and as a result, he couldn’t find enough time to host an ‘AskRF#’ session. However, on May 23, he was back at it. Unsurprisingly, his fans were delighted, as they got to ask him literally anything and everything.
As usual, some questions turned out to be quite random. One of them seemed particularly weird, even for Federer, as it quizzed the Swiss maestro regarding his opinion on fishing.

Roger Federer answers ‘random’ Twitter question through an Instagram post
As soon as the latest ‘AskRF#’ session started, Federer found himself swamped with questions. As always, he did his best to answer as many as he could. However, he was at a loss for words when it came to answering a particular question from a fan.
yes, it was a really random question.

The fan asked Federer, “Really random question, but do you like fishing?” In his answer, Federer wrote, “yes, it was a really random question”. Federer moved on to answer other questions, and the tennis legend’s response was surely a disappointment for the fan, who would probably have been hoping for something more.

However, Federer seemingly made amends for his answer to the fan through an Instagram post the next day. In his Insta post, Federer shared a few images of himself during his time in the US. Federer was in the country with his family for co-chairing the 2023 MET Gala and to attend the Miami Grand Prix.
One of the images showed the Swiss maestro trying his hand at fishing. So, it’s safe to say that Federer does like to fish.
