64-year-old John McEnroe is one of the best American men’s tennis players to have played the game. His illustrious career saw him clinch 7 Grand Slam singles and 9 Grand Slam doubles titles. Many of McEnroe’s fans expected his children to follow in their father’s footsteps. However, as it turned out, none of them chose sports as a career. Instead, they carved out their own niches. Especially McEnroe’s daughter, Emily. From an early age, Emily felt passionate about the world of arts and entertainment. As a result, she became an actress. Emily McEnroe is also taking baby steps as a director.
Recently, one of her directorial ventures paid dividends as it earned a well-deserved award. Emily wasted no time in letting her social media followers know about it.

When John McEnroe himself was in the news in the world of sports entertainment
In 2022, McEnroe featured in two entertainment projects. One of them was a documentary. Simply titled ‘McEnroe’, the documentary showed the inner workings of McEnroe’s mind during a trophy-laden yet controversial career. The other one was a tech project that saw the real McEnroe facing his younger self in a first-of-its-kind human vs. AI tennis match. It was aptly titled ‘McEnroe vs McEnroe’.
