64-year-old John McEnroe is one of the best American men’s tennis players to have played the game. His illustrious career saw him clinch 7 Grand Slam singles and 9 Grand Slam doubles titles. Many of McEnroe’s fans expected his children to follow in their father’s footsteps. However, as it turned out, none of them chose sports as a career. Instead, they carved out their own niches. Especially McEnroe’s daughter, Emily. From an early age, Emily felt passionate about the world of arts and entertainment. As a result, she became an actress. Emily McEnroe is also taking baby steps as a director.

Recently, one of her directorial ventures paid dividends as it earned a well-deserved award. Emily wasted no time in letting her social media followers know about it.

Emily McEnroe’s short film bags award at the 2023 edition of the prestigious IFS Film Festival

Emily McEnroe may not have a lot of experience under her belt as a director so far. However, that isn’t stopping her from trying her hand at directing. Recently, Emily co-directed a comedy short film titled ‘Hi Mom’ with Elyssia Koulouris.
